What is Imma Buzz?
Imma Buzz is a service that provides unique local phone numbers for your apartment buzzer system. This number can be configured in the buzzer system. When someone buzzes in, the building buzzer system calls this number. This number then redirects the call to all the configured phone numbers. The configured phone numbers can be anywhere across Canada. This way, everyone can buzz-in.
How many phone numbers can I configure?
You can subscribe to either 2 or 4 number plans, if you need more, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we can work something out.
How do I configure the number?
Once you subscribe, you will receive an email to submit your phone numbers. Once we receive your phone numbers, we will provision the number and send you the details to configure in your buzzer system. When the buzzer system calls this number, it will ring all the configured phone numbers.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Please read our Refunds, Returns and Exchanges policy.
Can I transfer my subscription to someone else?
Yes! you can do that once every pay-cycle, Please read our Refunds, Returns and Exchanges policy.
What happens if one of the configured phone numbers is unreachable?
If one of the configured phone numbers is unreachable and the call is answered by the voicemail, the call will be considered as answered and the other phone numbers will drop the call. If the call is not answered by any of the configured phone numbers, the call will be considered as unanswered and the buzzer system will not open the door. If you’re traveling make sure you forward your calls to a reachable number or disable the forwarding to voicemail.
If your phone and carrier supports it, skip forwarding calls from your buzzer system. You can also drop us an email at [email protected] and we can temporarily disable the number.
Can I use this service outside of Canada?
This feature is only available in Canada. We are working on expanding to other countries. Stay tuned!
What happens if I move to a different apartment?
Just configure your new apartment’s buzzer system with the same number. It should keep working as expected.
What happens if I move to a different city?
Please read our Refunds, Returns and Exchanges policy. We can help you transfer your subscription to someone else in your city and issue a new number for your new city.
What happens if I move to a different country?
Please read our Refunds, Returns and Exchanges policy. We can help you transfer your subscription to someone else in your city. Since this feature is only available in Canada for now, we won’t be able to issue a new number for your new country. However we’re working on expanding to other countries, stay tuned!
